Have PCOS and did not see any changes

I’m 26 and have been TTC for 5 years. I have PCOS my cycles are fairly regular (30-44 day cycles) but I do not ovulate regularly. I am seeing a naturopathic doctor and she suggested I take this. She has seen patients benefit from it. Honestly I did not feel any difference while using this product. In
fact when I started taking this along with vitamin B complex and vitamin D as suggested by DR. my cycle was 69 days (nearly 20 days late). So I’m not sure what threw off my cycle of those three changes but I’m assuming vitamins wouldn’t be the cause. Maybe I need to take it longer? I’m not sure, but I feel like 90 days is a long time and $75 is a lot of money to have not seen any difference.

That’s what works best for me

I was so excited to try this out. It’s a popular supplement amongst the PCOS community. This stuff made me gain weight, especially in my hips and thighs! I went off it after two months of use and lost the extra weight I had gained while on it. I will just stick to plain myo-inositol. That’s what works best for me.

Not a 90 day supply

Product seems to be helping but it is not a 90 day supply. I have followed the instructions 2 level scoops a day but I’m almost out and have only used it for 58 days.

My Anecdotal Evidence

2015, 2016, 2017 we tried for a baby. I was pretty sure I had PCOS and was physically suffering. Not telling my significant other, I gave up trying to get pregnant. 2018 was going to be about me and my happiness despite being unable to get pregnant. I am now almost done with the second jar of Ovasitol and I am 7 weeks pregnant. I was shocked, I had given up and had no illusions this stuff would work miracles. First jar I noticed I had regular periods and thicker nails, that was enough for me. But now I might get that baby we’ve been wanting so badly? I’m a believer. I wish there were more scientific studies backing this up so more women could get help.

Worked for me!

I have had no tummy issues at all, even taking 1.5x the dosage (after discussing with my healthcare team). I was diagnosed with GD and my fasting numbers starting creeping. Within 2 weeks, I had about a 10 point improvement that has sustained very well. To me, this is a fabulous addition to be able to stay diet controlled and keep both Momma and baby healthy throughout pregnancy!

This did the trick for my PCOS

Like many women I was put on Metformin for PCOS but after all the distress it put on my digestive system I had to do something else. After quite a bit of research I decided to give this a try and I am glad I did. Along with my moderately healthy diet and this just once a day instead of twice (works better for me personally just once a day) I am now losing weight slowly and my cycles are much more regular. I waited a few months to do the review so I could see how it played out for a while while I tracked things. Will be buying again when I am out.

What is it derived from?

Myo-inositol is made synthetically through a chemical process, the d-chiro-inositol is derived from a carob juice extract.

Is this non gmo?

Ovasitol does not go through any type certification, non-GMO project, etc. (because at this point there are no clear regulations for dietary supplements). However, the ingredients in Ovasitol do not come from any GMO crops/plants.
